As a parent of two boys—one in 6th grade and one in 8th—enrolling them in Eau Claire Virtual School was one of the best decisions we’ve made for their education and well-being.

The flexibility of the schedule has been a game-changer. My boys can start their day when they’re most focused, take breaks when needed, and dive deeper into subjects that spark their curiosity. This freedom has given them time to explore other interests that they simply didn’t have time for in a traditional school setting.

One of my favorite examples is how they’ve turned math into something practical and fun. We’ve spent time together in the kitchen, using fractions and measurements to plan and prepare meals for the family. It’s amazing to see them apply what they’re learning in real life and feel proud of their contributions.

The virtual environment has also eased a lot of the social pressure they used to feel. Without the stress of crowded classrooms or peer dynamics, they’re more relaxed, confident, and engaged. It’s amazing how much more they enjoy learning when they’re not overwhelmed by the noise and pace of a typical school day.

Eau Claire Virtual School has given our family the gift of time, balance, and growth. My boys are not just keeping up they’re thriving.
