Eau Claire Virtual School (ECVS) is an educational path for learners in 4th through 12th grade. We offer high-quality learning experiences through live lessons and independent assignments. Students stay engaged with peers in classroom learning settings as well as through community-based events. ECVS allows families a unique partnership into your child's education.

Meet your ECVS School Counselor 

Hello students and families, 

My name is Mrs. Kayla Hundt, and I’m honored to serve as your school counselor. Supporting students socially, emotionally, and academically is my passion, and I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. 

Outside of school, I’m all about family. I’m married to my wonderful husband, Caleb, and we’re proud parents to our son, Ray, who keeps us on our toes and fills our days with laughter. We also share our home with Logan, our lovable (and often stubborn!) Bulldog who’s truly part of the family. 

Whether I’m at school helping students grow or at home enjoying the crazy joys of family life, I believe in kindness, connection, and always showing up with heart. 

As the School Counselor, I am here to support all students in their academic journey, personal development, and future planning. Whether they're having a great day or facing a challenge, my “door” is always open. I believe every student has unique strengths, and I’m committed to helping each of them discover and build upon those strengths. 

I look forward to getting to know each of our families and I’m excited to work together to make this school year a positive and memorable one!
